Canine Training & Working Dogs
Trained for Life. Prepared for Work.
Professional dog training, selected trained dogs and working-dog solutions in Zimbabwe. From family companions to dogs developed for demanding environments, our approach is built around temperament, training, control and suitability for purpose. All breeds are welcome for training.
Every dog is different.
Start with what matters in your daily life: easier walks, a better recall or a dog that settles at home. We discuss your dog's age, temperament, current behaviour and your goals before recommending a suitable programme.
Puppy Foundations
For puppies learning about the world. Build confidence, appropriate socialisation, crate and toilet-training foundations, lead introduction and a first recall.
Junior & Adolescent
For young dogs becoming more independent. Strengthen engagement, lead manners, recall and impulse control, then practise around appropriate everyday distractions.
Adult Dog Training
For adult dogs starting or refreshing their training. Work towards easier lead walking, clearer communication, household manners and a more dependable recall.
Residential Training
For suitable dogs needing a focused stay. Ask about structured training, progress updates and an owner handover to help you continue the work at home. Places and arrangements are confirmed after assessment.
The right dog. The right home. A clear plan.
We start by understanding you: your routine, your experience and what you need from your dog. For family homes, everyday companionship matters alongside obedience. For working roles, we consider the environment, handler and demands of the job.
We put welfare, temperament and suitability at the centre of that conversation. Before you commit, we discuss the dog's demonstrated training, your responsibilities and the handover or follow-up options available. Clear expectations help you make a confident choice.
From first conversation to everyday practice.
The right starting point depends on your dog and what you want to achieve. Here is what to discuss with us before booking.
01 / Tell us about your dog
Share their age, breed, routine and the behaviours you would like help with, including any previous training.
02 / Agree the goals
Discuss suitability, priorities, training format and realistic progress. We confirm the proposed programme, availability and cost before you book.
03 / Practise useful skills
Focus on skills that matter at home and on walks, building distractions gradually at a pace suited to your dog.
04 / Continue at home
Ask about owner coaching, handover guidance and follow-up options. Agree what is included so you know how to maintain progress.
Progress depends on the individual dog and consistent practice. Programme length and support arrangements are agreed for each booking.
Looking for a dog with training already started?
Selected trained and partially trained dogs may be available for family companionship, advanced obedience, working homes, security applications or further specialist training. Training levels vary by dog.
Tell us about your household, children, other animals, experience with dogs and daily routine. For working homes, tell us the intended role and environment too. We use these details to discuss suitability alongside each dog's temperament and demonstrated training level.
Individual dog profiles will be added when confirmed. We can share a dog's name, breed, age, sex, training level, temperament, intended role and availability.
Ask for current photos or training video, confirmed health and identification information, and registration details where applicable. Discuss handling requirements and handover arrangements before choosing a dog.
Purpose Selected. Professionally Developed.
Selected dogs are assessed individually for temperament, confidence, environmental stability, trainability and handler engagement relevant to their intended work.
Sites & business
Property and site security, commercial premises, warehouses and industrial environments.
Farms & private property
Agricultural properties, private properties and other appropriate working environments.
Depending on availability and suitability, working dogs may be offered for purchase or contracted deployment.
Discuss your working-dog requirementsCanine solutions for sites & properties.
Businesses, farms, sites and property operators can enquire about contracted working-dog deployment. We assess the intended environment and requirements before considering a suitable dog and service arrangement.
Request a site assessmentWhat we consider
- Property or site type and required role
- Deployment period and working environment
- Dog suitability and handler requirements
- Housing, welfare, ongoing training and management
Deployment is subject to assessment, availability and appropriate operational arrangements.
Companionship, obedience & control.
For suitable clients and dogs, we can discuss dogs developed for family and personal-security environments, combining appropriate working ability with obedience, control and integration into their intended homes.
A protection role calls for stable temperament, responsiveness to the handler and suitability for everyday life. We discuss your household, visitors, other animals, property and handling experience before considering a match. Training level and home suitability must be assessed for each dog.
Enquire about protection dogsStart with suitability
Already own a dog? Tell us what you need it to achieve. We can discuss assessment and training options; specialist work depends on the individual dog's suitability.
Looking for a dog instead? Tell us the role and home or working environment. Ask about suitable available or developing dogs, an opportunity to see their training, and owner or handler handover options.

Practical answers about training, suitability and what to expect. For current availability and a plan for your circumstances, talk to us.
Do you train all breeds, or only working dogs?
All breeds are welcome for general training, from puppy foundations to adult obedience. Specialist working or protection training requires an individual assessment of temperament, health, confidence and suitability; breed alone does not determine eligibility.
Can you train the dog I already own?
Yes, you can enquire about training for your own dog. Tell us their age, breed, daily routine, previous training and the behaviours you want help with. We discuss the most suitable starting point before agreeing a programme.
Which training programme should I choose?
Start with your goals. Puppy foundations support early learning; junior and adult programmes focus on useful everyday skills. Residential training may suit some dogs and owners. We discuss your dog's needs, your availability and the options currently available before recommending a plan.
How long does training take, and what does it cost?
There is no single timetable or price for every dog. The starting level, goals, training format and consistency at home affect the plan. Contact us with your dog's details and location; we confirm the proposed duration, cost and what is included before you book.
Will I need to keep practising after training?
Yes. Training needs regular practice and consistent handling at home. Before booking, ask what owner coaching, handover guidance and follow-up support are included, and how to continue the skills in your daily routine.
What is the difference between a trained companion and a protection dog?
A trained companion develops everyday skills such as lead manners, recall and settling at home. A protection dog needs additional specialist assessment and training for an agreed role, alongside obedience and handler control. A breed label or barking at strangers is not evidence of protection training.
Can a protection dog live with children or other pets?
Home suitability must be assessed for the individual dog and household. Tell us about children, pets, visitors and your handling experience. No dog should be assumed suitable from its breed or training label alone; responsible supervision and management remain essential.
How do you help me choose a trained dog?
We discuss your household or working environment, daily routine, experience and intended role, then consider suitable dogs subject to availability. Ask for current photos or video, a training demonstration, health and identification information, and clear details of the dog's training level and handling needs before deciding.
Do you offer working dogs for farms, businesses or hire?
You can enquire about working dogs for purchase or contracted deployment on farms, private properties and business sites. Arrangements depend on assessment and availability. We discuss the role, handler requirements, secure housing, welfare, management and deployment period before confirming an offer.
Where are services available, and how do I start?
Send us your location in Zimbabwe and tell us whether you need training for your own dog, a trained dog supplied or a working-dog arrangement. We confirm current service coverage, availability and any travel or transport arrangements as part of your enquiry.
